The Financial Times described Anna Del Conte as ‘Britain’s most respected writer on Italian food’. Among her widely praised books are Portrait of Pasta and the reference book Gastronomy of Italy, for which she was awarded the Duchessa Maria Luigia di Parma prize. Her more recent books include Secrets from an Italian Kitchen and Entertaining all’Italiana, both now out in paperback. She recently published four small books, Antipasti, Pasta, Risotti and Dolci, under the series title Anna Del Conte’s Italian Kitchen. Anna Del Conte lives in London.
