  • About
Tucked away on 6th Avenue, MTK might not have the same profile as some of the restaurants in the Village, but few are quite as continually busy as this simple kitchen. This is even more impressive when you realise owner Titi runs the place almost completely single handedly, cooking everything from scratch.

Open since 2006 and specialising in Nigerian food alongside other West African dishes, MTK serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to a constant stream of visitors, hungry both for the excellent food and the social interaction. The jollof rice is a classic Nigerian dish everyone loves, but you must also try the fish. It is all supplied fresh from Ilias’, just a few metres away, and cooked expertly. The steamed black tilapia is Titi’s favourite dish to cook and the love and skill shines through.
