A family-run restaurant, Santafereño has been in Brixton Village for seven years, replacing the greasy spoon café that was there before. It serves a primarily South American clientele but is also popular with French-speaking Africans and those keen to be introduced to Colombian cuisine. Santafereño feeds them their famed caldo de costilla, or rib soup, as well as hard-to-find flavours of Colombia such as the kiwi-like lulo juice or Pony Malta malted drink. They nourish both body and soul.
