Freezer Method

Set dial of freezer at “quick freeze” about 1 hour before you make ice cream. Make ice cream; pour into a mixing bowl and place bowl in freezer until mixture is half frozen. Then whisk mixture thoroughly with a rotary whisk and pour it into the containers of your choice. Return to freezer for 2 to 3 hours, or until it is frozen hard.
