Although horseradish is an excellent source of vitamin C, has lots of potassium, and is low in calories, it is rarely consumed in quantities sufficient to pass along its nutritional wealth. It has medicinal value as well, as a circulatory stimulant, a diuretic for treating lung and urinary infections, and a pain reliever for stiff muscles and sore joints.
