This is such an important and emotive subject, and I believe that any little help we can get to stabilise, regulate and manage our hormones is worth the effort.
It’s important to establish from the beginning that hormone stability is not something we can solve, but rather something that we need to manage throughout our lives. The good news is that we can get better at it, and herbs and spices can make all the difference.
Our brains create hormones all the time. Everything we do, see, hear, touch, taste or smell leads to our brains sending messages around our bodies. These hormonal changes then dictate how we respond to further stimuli, including to people and our environments. They also allow us to deal with danger and pressure, perform above comfortable levels and drive us to be competitive or subservient. With all this going on, how can we take control of our hormones and reduce our mood swing and feelings of agitation?
