Your seedlings are hardened off and ready to be planted outdoors. Seems straightforward enough, but there are some important considerations to take into account at this stage. If you have not already done so, amend your beds and containers as outlined in Chapter 6 to get them ready to receive the seedlings.

Come spring, any gardener will be itching to get out there and plant. However, if seedlings are transplanted either too early or too late, it could spell disaster. To avoid disappointment, consider the following guidelines:
