  • About
I am blessed to have grown up just a couple of hours drive to my grandparent’s house and my extended family in Pharr, Texas. At the end of the month we had a long standing date for a weekend trip to visit our South Texas family. There was always something to celebrate, and these weekends were often spent gathering and feasting with multiple generations of my family. Sometimes we gathered to cook and pass down a recipe and its techniques. There were times when we gathered to celebrate holidays and traditions rooted in food. It was the communal environment and time spent together handing down traditions that created beautiful lifelong memories.
