Ketevan Mindorashvili is a multi-talented Kakhetian woman whose activities range from music and dance to cooking. Keto, as she is known, is the leader of the Georgian polyphonic music ensemble, Zedashe, and has helped collect, save and revive ancient chants, songs and dances from all over Georgia. At her studio in Sighnaghi above Pheasant’s Tears Restaurant (she’s married to John Wurdeman), extraordinary music is always to be heard as the group rehearses and trains young singers and dancers in the complex and stirring traditional music. She has toured the world with the ensemble.
