Paul’s son, Alex, first became interested in qvevri wines through John Wurdeman. Father and son decided to make wine, buying a house and building a cellar in Sighnaghi. They own 9 hectares (22 acres) of vineyards in the Sighnaghi area at Ojio, Khashmi and Nukriani. Alex and Paul began working in qvevri and bottling their wines. They produce field blends from the older vineyards, as well as Rkatsiteli and Kakhuri Mtsvane.
