Bakuriani

From Borjomi the road going south-east to Tsaghveri along the Borjomula River leads up to Bakuriani, one of Georgia’s most important ski resorts. The well-equipped winter resort is 25 kilometres from Borjomi, at 1,700 metres (5,575 feet) in the Trialeti range. If you’re there in summer, these scenic mountain pastures have lovely trails for hiking. The resort offers high-end hotels with spa facilities as well as rooms to rent in private houses for less money and a more authentic experience.
