Gudauri

For skiing and winter sports, Gudauri offers easy access to the slopes even in winter as the Highway is always open up to this point. There is snow between November and April and the resorts host many winter sport events and festivals. It’s also a favourite location for the extreme winter sports that are harder to do in Europe, with some enthusiasts taking helicopters up in winter.
