Street Food is available at all hours of the night and day and ranges from a simple bag of fried peanuts or lentils sold by a wandering vendor, or pakoras fried to order, to a pani puri filled with spiced tamarind water or a more elaborate plate of dal and rice and bhaji. A delicious variety of snacks is sold not just at breakfast, lunch or dinner, but all day long.

In India, there are food carts, tea stalls and mobile snack vendors on almost every street corner. Eating throughout the day is a way of life and the diversity of freshly made snacks to choose from is incredible.
