Winter

Winter may be the darkest time of year but it’s also one of the most exciting, with the prospect of joyful twinkly lights and decorations, Christmas and new year festivities, and cosying up in front of roaring open fires. There are many festive bakes you can’t easily buy for those who want or need to avoid certain ingredients, so here you’ll find my friendly versions of Christmas cakes, snacks, chocolates, sweets and showstopping puddings, all of which need not be only for Christmas of course.
