  • About
Fruit butters are an especially delicious way to sweeten tea breads. We like Orange Butter on Orange Pecan, Banana, or Apricot Raisin Breads. Strawberry Butter is a wonderful addition to Orange Pecan Bread, croissants, brioches, or crisp waffles. Cream the ingredients together, transfer to a small crock, and chill. The butters keep several days in the refrigerator or many weeks in the freezer. Let the butter return to room temperature before serving. Even morning toast seems like a treat with a pat of fruit butter melting on it.
