If there’s one weird thing in life I’m a fan of (and to be honest, I’m a fan of a ton of weird things), it’s eating flowers. The idea that something so beautiful can be consumed, which is then processed by our physical bodies and used for fuel, is just a crazy magical concept to me. Because I enjoy eating flowers, it’s a natural migration to love the act of drinking them too.
Floral flavors are more mainstream than many people realize, though they are more commonly used in other cultures than in the United States. You may have noticed that we’ve already used them a bunch in this book because they contribute fabulously to an array of cocktail and mocktail recipes!
