  • About
It’s a terrifying prospect, but most of the seafood we eat has some quantity of mercury in it. And while people all over the world eat fish daily, it’s still a good idea to follow FDA recommendations, which weigh a fish’s nutritional advantages (like protein and omega-3 fatty acids) with its risks.

The general FDA advice for adults is to stick to two to three 4 oz [115 g] servings of fish per week (specific advice for children and people who are pregnant or breastfeeding can be found at www.fda.gov).
