Anyone who wants a lemon sorbet without the vodka in the Roaring Fork’s Backyard Lemon-Vodka Ice can make this one.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups freshly squeezed Meyer lemon juice
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 cup superfine sugar
  • pinch salt

Method

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until the sugar is dissolved. Then put in a metal or glass loaf pan in the freezer and follow the instructions on, or freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s directions.
