Classic apple pie is such a part of the american consciousness (as in “as American as apple pie”) that this iconic dessert needs no introduction. We can only offer that our recipe has been tweaked by the feedback of several of our customers, and that the magic has to do with the apples themselves. Don’t bother with mealy supermarket specimens. Find great-tasting Granny Smiths at your local farmers’ market, bake them in our time-tested crust, and serve the pie slightly warm.
