Curd is an ugly word for a delicious dessert. Made properly, curd is transformative, and can be used as a cake filling (as in our Lemon Drop Cake), as a simple spread for scones and toasts, or as a lovely tart filling. Our Lemon Lime Bars feature a tart and tangy curd with a smooth creamy consistency nestled up against the crunch of a crisp graham-coconut crust. This is a cooling summer dessert, but we love these bars so much we keep making them for weeks
