Sometimes even the most loved cookie needs an update. We adore traditional oatmeal cookies, but decided to reinterpret the standard recipe with a hint of winter spices, and we ditched the raisins entirely. Dried cherries, tangy and chewy, are unexpectedly delicious here. These cookies are moist on the inside with a crunchy exterior, perfect for dipping in hot chocolate or cold milk.
