When I lived at home, making snacks for Diwali was a big event. We would congregate at someone’s house to cook the snacks in batches. My sisters, cousins and I would be given various jobs to do on the assembly line. Mine was rolling any form of dough because I can roll it very thinly. Nowadays we mostly buy Diwali snacks because everyone’s lives seem that much busier than they were. But every now and then I make these crackers in small batches as my husband loves them.
