How luxurious to be presented with a perfectly prepared grapefruit! Refreshing and tangy, these make an interesting starter for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 large grapefruit, preferably pink
  • 2 teaspoons Cointreau
  • 1 tablespoon

Method

  1. Halve the grapefruit through the equator and cut a thin sliver from the base of each so that each half will sit without tipping over. Using the point of a grapefruit knife, cut down each side of every membrane to loosen the segments. Be careful not to cut through the skin.
