Peel the potatoes and put them in a large pan of salted water. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until tender, approximately 30–35 minutes. Drain well, then return to the pan to dry over low heat.
Mash the potato until smooth, then beat in the butter. Sift the flour, baking powder, nutmeg and some salt into a bowl. Add the mashed potato and, using
