Game birds like teal, snipe, woodcock, widgeon, pintail and even pigeon are a great way to entertain your guests at Christmas. What’s more they don’t take much longer than 15 minutes in a hot oven to cook so you can pop them in while you are having your starter.
If you are keen with a shotgun, you can save up these less common birds in the freezer during the season and pull them out on the 24th for your game bird feast. You should allow a couple of birds per person for a really unus
