Method

Heat the oven to 200°C, 400°F, Gas Mark 6. Roll pastry thinly and cut into rounds, 7–8 cm (2½–3 in) in diameter, to make 10–12 tarts. Prick lightly with a fork. Line a greased tart tin with the pastry and fill each one with one teaspoon of the strawberry jam which has been mixed with the brandy. Do not overfill. Bake
