Ingredients

  • oz flour
  • ½ oz sugar
  • ½ egg

Method

  1. Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Mix the flour, oatmeal, salt and carbonate of soda.
  3. Rub in the dripping, add the sugar.
  4. Mix to a stiff paste with beaten egg and milk if necessary.
  5. Knead the mixture, roll to of an inch in thickness.
  6. Cut into rounds or squares.
  7. Bake
