Ingredients

Shortcrust Pastry

  • 175 g / 6 oz plain flour
  • 100 g /

Method

Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl. Rub in the butter and mix to a dough with the milk. Wrap and chill the dough while making the filling. Cream the butter and sifted sugar. Beat in the egg, cinnamon, mixed spice and currants.

On a lightly floured board, roll out the pastry until 3 mm /
