This confection consists of squares of shortbread covered in a layer of caramel and then a thick top layer of chocolate.
And its name is an indication of its richness. These are divine smashed up and sprinkled over caramel or vanilla ice cream, or on their own with a cup of tea or coffee.
Ingredients
1 x 14 -oz can 2 cups 500 mL
Method
To make the caramel from condensed milk, follow one of the methods of cooking the condensed milk given. Let cool completely.
Alternatively, prepare the Salted Butter Caramel Sauce.
