This aperitif, perhaps the most popular in Martinique and Guadeloupe, is also known as Punch au Petit Citron Vert (punch with small green lime), usually shortened to Petit Punch, Little Punch. It is made with the local rhum agricole, a very gentle white rum, and jus de canne - pure cane syrup, which is now available from the islands, sometimes labelled cane juice.
