Method

Put the meat through the mincer, add the soaked bread, season highly with salt and pepper, bind with the eggs and mix thoroughly. Shape the mixture into a loaf, put it on a baking tin with melted fat and cook in a moderate oven, basting frequently for about 1 to 1½ hours till it is done.
