This is an excellent lunch or supper dish which I came across in Singapore. To bulk it out you can have it with rice or noodles.

Ingredients

  • packet of noodles or 250 g rice
  • 50 g butter

Method

Cook the noodles or rice as per packet instructions.

Heat the butter in a heavy pan and fry the garlic. Add the prawns and cook until they begin to turn pink. Add the fish sauce and the soy sauce and cook for a few minutes. Add the cucumber and some crushed Szechuan pepper or white pepper.
