This looks and tastes beautiful. It’s gorgeous for breakfast just as it is, or with yogurt, and also makes a wonderful sauce for pancakes.
Melt the vegan butter in a saucepan over a medium heat, then add the brown sugar and lemon juice. When the sugar has dissolved, add the berries and stir gently to coat them with the sugar mixture. Cook gently for 2–3 minutes until they are warmed through and tender and the juices have started to run.
Let cool before serving.
