  • About

This my American daughter-in-law’s Sunday-morning recipe for New England scones. Cranberries are pretty much a way of life over there. I’ve left the measurements in their American form – such a sensible way to measure ingredients, both wet and dry – to keep the proportions correct. An American cup is the old English half-pint coffee-mug (roughly 250 ml): as long as you use the same measuring-cup throughout, all will be well.
