These—buttery, nutty, sugary—are irresistible. I serve fruit cup or ice cream just as an excuse to make these.

all-purpose flour 2

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°.

Mix all the ingredients except the confectioners’ sugar together in a large bowl. [I use the preserving kettle and my hands.] Form into small balls the size of walnuts and place on cookie sheets an inch apart. Bake at <
