Ingredients

  • 3 parsnips, peeled and cut into 1½-inch sections
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
  • Salt

Method

Toss the parsnips with the butter, salt, and pepper. Arrange them in a baking dish just large enough to hold them and slide them into the oven. Turn the oven to 350°F (there is no need to preheat) and roast for about 1 hour, until a knife slides through
