  • About

I knew I could count on my friend Sheri Portwood, Dallas caterer and all-around great baker, for a chewy, sweet, homey oatmeal cookie recipe. This recipe fulfills all the requirements you want in such a cookie—and is chock-full of raisins, nuts, and chocolate chips. If you want plainer cookies, make them just with raisins—or with any combination of the raisins, nuts, and chips. Just make sure to add a total of 3½ cups of whichever ingredient.
