Pinwheel cookies of plain chocolate and vanilla doughs are a traditional favorite. This combination of plain and chocolate peanut butter doughs improves on a good thing.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, cut into ¼-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons water

Method

  1. Put the chocolate and water in a heatproof bowl. Bring a small pan of water to a boil, then turn off the heat and set the bowl over the hot water. Stir occasionally until the chocolate has melted; remove from the hot water and set aside to cool.
