This foolproof recipe for tender biscotti is from my friend and former student Andrea Tutunjian, who now teaches with me at Peter Rump’s New York Cooking School.

Ingredients

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon

Method

  1. Set a rack in the middle level of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; stir well to mix.
  3. Cut the butter into six or eight pieces and add to the bowl. Rub the butter into the dry in
