Method
- Place one chocolate-cake layer on baking sheet.
- Melt butter, stir in brown sugar and cream and add cherries. Spread mixture on cake layer, spreading out to edges all around.
- Place cake in broiler 6" to 8" from heat and broil until bubbly all over and golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Use this for the top layer of cake.
- Put layers together and fros
