Lord’s Rostélyos



Ingredients for Panfried

  • Rostélyos
  • ½ pound bacon, sliced thin
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • ¼ cup white vinegar


  1. Proceed exactly as in the basic recipe, through step 2.
  2. After the meat is browned, line a heavy braising pot with slices of bacon. Place meat on top of bacon.
  3. Cook wilted onion, tomato and paprika in the wine and the vinegar for 15 minutes.
  4. Add seared steak slices, cover the pot, and finish as in the basic recipe.
