You will be amazed at this curry’s creamy-smooth texture and mellow heat, even though it is liberally peppered with green chiles and peppercorns. I attribute the mellowness to the lentils, which protect our palates from the fiery burn. If you wish for something tangy, squirt a tablespoon or two of freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice over the finished curry.
