Here, the campfire classic is deconstructed with delicious results: a split doughnut sandwiches toasted marshmallows and is topped with chocolate glaze and graham cracker crumbs. For an Italian touch, substitute biscotti or amaretti crumbs.

Make the vanilla doughnut dough and knead. Roll it out, cut out doughnuts and holes, and refrigerate.

Meanwhile, make the chocolate glaze and then stir in an additional ½ cup confectioners’ sugar. Keep warm until ready to glaze the doughnuts.
