Also known as Mexican Wedding Cookies, Russian Tea Cookies, and Scottish something-or-others, these traditional shortbreads are a global go-to baked sweet. No holiday cookie tin is truly filled without them. The addition of the dates is what really sets these apart from all the other tea cookies you’ve tried.
