  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Measure flour and salt into electric mixer’s small bowl. Stir to mix. Add shortening and mix at low speed about 1 minute, scraping bowl constantly. Add water and continue mixing until all flour is moistened, about 1 minute. Scrape bowl constantly. (You may need to add 1 to 2 tsp.
