  • c. plus 1 tblsp. cold water
  • ¾ c. shortening

Method

  • Measure all ingredients into electric mixer’s bowl. Mix on lowest speed until dough begins to form, 15 to 30 seconds. Shape in firm, smooth ball with hands. Follow directions for 2-Crust Pie from Flaky Pastry.
