Ingredients

  • 6 c. ground beef
  • 12 c. chopped apples
  • 6 c.

Method

  • Cook beef thoroughly, but do not brown.
  • Put meat and apples through food chopper, using medium blade.
  • Combine all ingredients in large kettle. Simmer 30 minutes.
  • Pack at once in hot pint jars. Adjust lids. Process in pressure canner 60 minutes at 10 pounds pressure (240°F.).
  • Remove jars from canner and complete seals unless closures
