Almost magic—making pie with autumn fruit favorites when lilac

Ingredients
3c. sliced peeled apples
2c. fresh cranberries
1¾c. sugar
¼c. flour
1tsp.cinnamon
1½tsp.melted butter
Method
Combine all ingredients. Arrange in a foil-lined 8" pie pan. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and freeze. Remove frozen filling from pan, wrap, seal, label, date and return to freezer. Recommended storage time: up to 3 months.
To make pie, place unwrapped, unthawed filling in pastry-lined 9" pie pan. Top with pastry strip lattice.
