Method

  • Soften gelatin in ¼ c. water.
  • Combine in saucepan cocoa, ¾ c. sugar, ¾ c. water and coffee powder, stirring to dissolve sugar. Bring to a boil and cook gently 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  • Pour a little of hot mixture over slightly beaten egg yolks, mix and stir into remaining hot mixture. Cook until mixture thickens, about 5 mi
