Method

  • Melt chocolate pieces in double boiler over not, not boiling, water. Add hot water, vanilla and salt. Cook and stir until smooth. Cool.
  • Fold in whipped cream and pour into Walnut Meringue Pie Shell. Chill 4 hours or overnight. Spread thin layer of whipped cream over top when serving, if desired.
